A family shop that started with a paintbrush.
Grace 4 U Inc is a faith-based, family owned, veteran operated company based in Lebanon, Indiana. The Bocock family has worked in this trade for nearly thirty years; the company itself was incorporated in 2017, and it is still run day to day by a father and son who show up to the job site.
Trusted. Local. Experienced.
Three words Caleb uses to describe this company. Here is what stands behind each one.
Trusted
Owens Corning does not hand its Preferred Contractor, Top of the House, or Total Protection Roofing Systems certifications to just anyone who sells their shingles. Each one required Grace 4 U to prove out an installation standard before the designation was granted, and the BBB A+ rating comes from the same place, an outside party checking the record rather than us describing ourselves.
Local
Lebanon is not a territory assigned to us on a map somewhere else. It is where the Bocock family lives, and where this company is based on 500 East. The towns on our service list are towns we already drive through on the way to another job, not places we schedule a special trip to reach.
Experienced
Nearly thirty years of family history in this trade is the reason the company can carry four trades under one name instead of one. It is also why the estimate you get on a first visit tends to hold up once the wall or the roof deck actually gets opened; there is not much left that surprises us.
How a paintbrush turned into four trades
Grace 4 U Inc was incorporated in Indiana in 2017, but the trade experience standing behind that company runs nearly thirty years deeper. The distinction is worth being precise about rather than blurring the two together: the company is young enough to still be run day to day by the family that started it, and the hands-on experience behind it is old enough that nobody was learning ladders and shingles for the first time on your roof. Almost three decades of the Bocock family working in painting, roofing, siding and gutters came before the paperwork that made Grace 4 U Inc a registered company.
Painting came first. Exterior and interior painting was the original work, and for a while that was the whole business. Customers who hired Grace 4 U to paint a house kept asking about the roof over their head, or the siding underneath the trim being painted, or the gutters spilling onto a flower bed below a freshly painted porch. Roofing, siding and gutters got added one at a time, in roughly that order, because the honest answer to each request kept being yes instead of a referral to somebody else. What started as a painting company grew into a four-trade exterior and interior contractor without ever stopping being a painting company first, which is still where a lot of the attention to prep and finish comes from.
Caleb and Derek Bocock
Caleb and Derek Bocock are Grace 4 U's co-owners, and they are father and son. There is no layer of management between the name on the truck and the people answering the phone. If a decision needs to get made on site, that decision comes from one of them, not from a supervisor calling a supervisor.
Running a company with your own father, or your own son, carries a particular kind of accountability. Neither of them can walk away from a bad outcome on somebody else's project, because there is no separating the Bocock family name from the company's work. That is part of why the same standard applies whether the job is a full roof tear-off or a single bathroom ceiling.
Faith-based, family owned, veteran operated
Those three words are on the site because each one is doing real work, not sitting on a badge.
Faith-based means the standard for a finished job is not just what a homeowner will accept, it is what the people doing the work would be comfortable calling done if it were their own house. Family owned means Caleb and Derek carry the company's reputation personally on every job, rather than as employees of something bigger than themselves. Veteran operated means the discipline that runs a project schedule and the discipline that shows up to finish a hard job in bad weather come from the same place.
None of that shows up as a line item on an invoice. It shows up in the parts of a job nobody is watching: whether old step flashing gets replaced instead of reused, whether the beds get tarped before the tear-off starts, whether the magnet sweep happens before the truck leaves the driveway.
Helping homeowners transform the place they call home
That sentence is the answer Caleb gives when someone asks what Grace 4 U is actually trying to do for a customer, not a line a marketing consultant wrote the week before launch. A house is not just an asset on this crew's list; it is the place somebody comes home to every night, and the goal on every job is to leave that place better than a bid on paper would technically require. Sometimes that looks like a full siding and paint transformation. Sometimes it is one room, or one gutter run, done to the same standard.
Credentials that actually mean something
Grace 4 U Inc holds four credentials, and each one certifies something specific rather than acting as a general seal of approval.
Owens Corning Preferred Contractor status means Owens Corning has reviewed the company against its own standards for installation quality and customer service before extending the designation. Not every contractor selling Owens Corning material carries it.
Owens Corning Top of the House Certified Contractor status is specifically about attic ventilation: intake at the soffit and exhaust at the ridge working together as one balanced system instead of one being added without the other. That certification is what stands behind checking ventilation on every roof, not only the ones where a customer happens to ask.
Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing Systems Certified is the deepest of the three. It covers installing the shingle, underlayment, ice-and-water protection and ventilation components together as one matched system rather than mixing brands piece by piece, which is also what makes the manufacturer's system-level warranty upgrades available on a roof.
BBB A+ rating reflects the Better Business Bureau's own review of the company's complaint history and how it responds to customers, independent of anything Grace 4 U reports about itself.
Grace 4 U Inc also carries full liability and workers compensation insurance. Indiana does not issue a statewide roofing or painting license, so fully insured is the accurate description of that coverage rather than licensed.
Where the name comes from
Grace 4 U is not a marketing flourish sitting on top of a logo. Grace, in the way the Bocock family uses the word, means treating a homeowner's house the way you would want your own treated: extending patience when a job runs into something nobody could see from the ground, and making it right if something about the work is not right the first time. A well-cared-for home brings a kind of security and peace of mind that goes beyond the exterior itself, and extending that grace to every house this company touches is the actual operating instruction behind the name, not a slogan chosen after the fact.
Homeowners who already take pride in the place.
The people we like working with most are not looking for the cheapest way to make a problem go away. They already mow the edges, keep the beds up, notice when the trim needs attention, and they want their home transformed with materials and workmanship that hold up, not patched over for a season.
That is who this company is set up to serve, whether the job is a full exterior like the one in these photos or a single room. The standard on the small jobs is the same standard as the big ones, because the homeowners who care most about their property tend to notice the difference either way.
What backs the work, spelled out.
